Informed Energy Solutions Inc (IES) was incorporated in 2009 to promote environmental stewardship through education and solar system implementation. Over the past 12 years, IES has grown to offer Do-it-Yourself (DIY) kits for small, medium, and large applications.
IES is proud to have been serving Southern Ontario for the past 12 years, and we are excited to make our expertise in solar available across Canada with the launch of our new website!

To date, IES has earned the trust of over 400 residential and agricultural customers, 16 large scale commercial customers, and on a continuing basis, many more DIY customers. This means that IES has installed and currently maintains over 8mW of both rooftop and ground mounted solar systems. Each of these installations brought new challenges which IES meet head-on. This means that IES has the confidence and expertise to help our customers make the right decisions and bring their projects from the initial design phase all the way to successful commissioning.
